How to Accept Donations with WordPress

  1. Give 01:39
    • This is a robust donations plugin that is free to use. This is a great tool to use for churches, nonprofits, or anyone who needs to accept donations.
    • The plugin comes with great reporting tools, custom forms, and donor profile management.
    • It also offers a variety of add-ons for goal setting, recurring donations, receipts, tributes, and more.
  2. Use a form 05:17
    • If you’re not going to be setting up donations for a long period of time or you just want a simple solution, you can set up a form using Caldera or Gravity forms and accept a one-time payment from donors.
    • However, if you don’t already have these plugins, you might as well go with the Give plugin.
  3. Stripe 06:20
    • For another simple solution, you can just set up donations through Stripe.
  4. Paypal 06:49
    • You can also use PayPal as another simple donations solution.
    • Again, it comes down to what you will be using it for. If you want a simple solution, this could work for you. If you are going to be setting up donations for an extended period of time, then you should consider using Give.
