Should You Start a Podcast?

Obviously, we love podcasts. In addition to running WP the Podcast, we are also a part of the weekly podcast and YouTube show Divi Chat.

1. It depends on what your goals are 02:29
   • Just like YouTube videos and blog posts, podcasts are another source of content creation.
   • If you are building a personal brand or teaching something to your audience, then definitely it’s the way to go.
   • However, if you love client work and don’t want to do as much content creation, then it may not be for you.
2. It’s easy to start a podcast 03:44
   • Podcasting has a relatively low barrier to entry.
   • You can have all the fancy audio equipment, or not! Some podcasts are recorded just over the phone.
3. You never know who might connect with 04:14
   • There are probably people out there who are interested in the same things as you and looking for the content you want to provide.
   • It’s really cool to connect with listeners of your show.

   • Go start a podcast if you want to! It’s incredibly rewarding and super fun.
