Is It Okay to Use Non .com Website Domains?

1. It’s always best to get .com if you can 00:39
   • Traditionally, .com is taken more seriously, so you should try to get the .com whenever possible
   • There are many more domains available now than there used to be, so if you can’t get the .com, try another top level domain.
2. Make sure the brand is not being used 02:12
   • If the .com isn’t available, someone else might be using it.
   • In this case, you might want to find something else entirely. Using .net when someone else is using .com will make it harder for you to rank for your website.
3. Get creative with the new top level domains 04:27
   • Try .agency or .life and use it as part of your branding.
